Carly Ginsberg is a student at Barnard College of Columbia University. She's passionate about transforming and redesigning the education system through progressive and artistic avenues. She believes that empathy and creativity should be valued as fundamental qualities both in and outside the classroom, and that harnessing these qualities in students will allow them to be as good at listening to the ideas and opinions of others as they are at articulating their own, and gain a sense of confidence to put those ideas into action. She values self-expression in every form, and personally expresses herself through her two true loves: acting and writing.
